The glass artisans of the Mestdagh studio have dedicated themselves to Glass works passionately since 1947. 

Today this family business is, the oldest stained glass studio in Belgium. The oldest technical crafts - especially within the art of glass painting - are upheld here with great love and pride. Evenso, time does not stand still for Mestdagh. 

Through the years, the atelier has flourished into an acknowledged centre for window-glass. 

Here, restoration, conservation, design and the realization of new projects go hand in hand.  

 In their stained glass creations, Luc and Ingrid Mestdagh-Meyvaert, along with their oldest daughter Katrien, strive to achieve a modernity which maintains the integrity of the traditional craft.  Restorations are executed with the greatest care. 

Knowledge, craftsmanship and creativity are the keys to success for atelier Mestdagh. Please permit yourself into seduction as does Mestdagh, by the splendors of this art of glass.

Trois générations d’art du vitrail

L’Atelier Mestdagh existe depuis 1947. Cette entreprise familiale est aujourd’hui l’atelier de vitraux le plus ancien de Belgique. 
L’artisanat – surtout la peinture sur verre – y est, jusqu’à ce jour, pratiqué avec beaucoup de passion et de fierté. 

Mais le temps ne s’arrête pas là. L’atelier est devenu avec les années un centre de vitraux également spécialisé en restauration/conservation, création et exécution. 

Dans leurs créations de verre et de plomb, Luc et Ingrid Mestdagh-Meyvaert, avec leur fille aînée et leur équipe, tendent à la modernité avec beaucoup de respect pour la tradition artisanale.

De glazeniers van het atelier Mestdagh wijden zich sinds 1947 vol passie aan de glasraamkunst. Vandaag is het familiebedrijf Mestdagh het oudste glazenieratelier in België. 

De oude ambachtelijke technieken – en zeker de glasschilderkunst – worden er met liefde en trots in ere gehouden. Toch staat de tijd er niet stil. Het atelier is uitgegroeid tot een glasraamcentrum. Restauratie/conservatie, ontwerp en uitvoering van nieuwe projecten gaan er hand in hand. 

In hun glas-in-loodcreaties streven Luc en Ingrid Mestdagh-Meyvaert, hun oudste dochter Katrien en team naar moderniteit met respect voor de rijke ambachtelijke traditie. 

Restauraties worden met de grootste zorg uitgevoerd. Kennis, vakkunde en ontwerp zijn de sleutels van het succes van atelier Mestdagh. Laat u verleiden tot de kleurenpracht van hun glasraamkunst.

Die Glaskunsthandwerker des Mestdagh Studios haben sich seit 1947 aus Passion dem Glaskunsthandwerk gewidmet. Heutzutage ist dieser Familienbetrieb das älteste Glaskunststudio in Belgien.

 Die ältesten Kunstfertigkeiten – speziell im Bereich der Glasmalerei – werden mit großer Liebe und Stolz  aufrechterhalten. Trotzdem steht für Mestdagh die Zeit nicht still. 

Über die Jahre hindurch ist das Atelier erfolgreich als Fachzentrum in Fensterglas tätig. 

Hier gehen Restauration, Erhalt, Design und die Realisation von neuen Projekten Hand in Hand.

In ihren Bleiglaskreationen bemühen sich Luc und Ingrid Mestdagh-Meyvaert, nebst ihrer ältesten Tochter Katrien, eine Modernität zu erreichen unter Bewahrung der Integrität des traditionellen Handwerks. 

Restaurationen werden mit der größten Sorgfalt ausgeführt. Wissen, Handwerkskunst und Kreativität sind der Schlüssel zum Erfolg des Ateliers Mestdagh.
